Mine is loose also and I have to make sure it is charging. Have you tried a friends charger for an I Pad to see if yours is worn down? I know you said it was the ipad but hoping it is the charger.

you need to go to the Apple store in Orlando. Call to make an appointment

There's a new repair shop next to Son Rise Cafe on 466. I'd go with checking to see if it will take a charge from another charger first, though. If you're still under warranty, then definitely go to the iPad store. If not, then a local shop.

I'm assuming your iPad is using the new lightning cable....

The most probable issue is, you have dust/lint in the bottom of the connection point on the iPad. Take a toothpick and gently clean out the port. It doesn't take much dust to cause the connection to become unreliable. If you shine a light down into the port, you will likely see a bit of dust in there.

Good Luck!

I have had good success with Repair Wireless, 127 S US Hwy 441 Lady Lake. 352-461-0435. They have been very knowledgeable about Apple products. Stop in and have them look at it.
