Trouble with garage remote on door?
 

Does anyone else have difficulty opening the garage door with the mvp system? The remotes work but the main one on the garage door won't work consistently. I have had Master's Touch in 3 times to fix the remotes and he has reprogammed both times. Once, our remote was opening my neighbor's garage.


I called Ro-Mac and she said that there was no other sytem. Does anyone know of any other reputable installer of any other system Or can this system be fixed? The house is 9 yrs. old and the main remote has been finicky for ages but seems to be more off than on now. Can't remember how to set a new password if that would help. ANd I did put in a new battery so that isn''t the problem.

OK, had the exact same problem at our house, the problem was bad wiring between the wall mounted switch inside the garage and the MVP opener mechanism. Romac finally found the problem after 3 trips to the house and lots of trouble shooting.
Have someone check the wiring for loose screw connections, and hidden splices, either one will cause the problem you describe.
