Once upon a time I recall when in Germany while discussing immigration into the USA (long before the illegal, sanctioned waves of the current day)....the Germans were proud that they did not have such "problems" as the USA' melting pot. They would say there was some satisfaction knowing that they knew who it was that was making their beds and cooking their food.....and now............they are in as bad of shape as we are.

It is a sad situation but do you think it is an "immigration" problem or a "refugee" problem ?

With the killing that has been going on in Syria, unnoticed, obviously, by the west, this situation seemed to be to be inevitable.

Perhaps not immigration. However. With all the same inherent problems.

This will kill socialist countries. Already, socialism is killing France. Tens of thousands of French are leaving their country, seeking a better lifestyle because of the high taxes required to sustain socialism. Add more to the equation and you will break their economy back. Just another reason for staying away from socialism here.

Our neighbors just returned from Germany and said they were glad they went now to see it again before the illegal immigrants destroy it completely. They had lots of horror stories of what they witnessed. Their home town of 1,000 was forced to take 60 of them. They said they will not return.

Taking down the wall almost did them in. We have friends there also, and they were very upset with the resulting incorporation of the East when they took the wall down. The East was so poor that it strained Germany's economy when they merged. Now, it will be another strain that may be the straw on the camel's back.

Strong, determined, focused, committed to country, strict, accurate never a need to second guess has become a wishy washy political entity llike us.

Tens of thousands of French leaving their country to find a better life sounds like another country's immigration crisis.

Critical to this is issue is the manner of assimilation . Authorities have already reported that male syrian refugee's are refusing to have female serve them food, etc.

The Western nations should have provided home camps for these people rather than agree to take them in. Hungarian authorities seem to be the smartest. Obama needs to take note but he is not quick enough. This world is just plainly upside down
