Finally made it
 

Have been wanting to go to the Villages since 2005 when we first visited. I fell in love with the place but between convincing my wife and trying to sell in a very poor market it took a while. Once I buried St. joseph in the yard though, things began to go and we finally sold in August!

The last night in our old community a bunch of friends took us out to dinner at P.F. Changs and I got a fortune cookie that read "Your eyes will soon be opened to a world full of beauty, charm and adventure." Coincidence?

Anyway, Cathi and I set off for the Villages last week and found a house we really liked and we bought it! It is a Camellia in the village of Hemingway right at the pool. We close on October 15th and expect to move in on October 27th.

Hoping to meet you all at Crispers some day soon.

WTG BoB - Glad you guys sold your house and bought you one that you liked. We're halfway there. We bought the house but have yet to sell ours in KY. Then we'll make the move and see YOU at Crispers.

:welcome::welcome::welcome:Bob......so glad to hear it! We too have a Camellia right by the Odell pool. So far we have slept in it for 19 nights but are looking forward to a long stay starting in November. Actually Halloween.

Hope you have at least 200 years of wonderful fun in Paradise.
