This is my dog before we go to the park and then after. Can we not get this large mud/water hole fixed so I can return to the park as she loves it there so much but it is so much work trying to clean her afterwards.

Your dog is fabulous, even covered with mud. Is she a Doodle Mix?

yes she is a goldendoodle. I hosed her down at the park and then brought her home and gave her a bath and she still is a mess. Someone at the park told me about a mobile dog groomer named Craig. Does anyone have a number for him as I think she now needs a professional cleaning and grooming.

HappyGoLucky: If you look in the Pet Forum, there are lots of suggestions for groomers, mobile and otherwise.
I love goldendoodles, (but then I love every dog with paws).
Our Lollipop (in my golfcart) is a rescue Portuguese Water Dog.

OMG. My ShihTzu is coming with us in December and I didn't want to take all of her bath supplies! Maybe I should rethink that!!

There is no mud hole (thank goodness!) on the small dog side.

I bet your pup had a great time.

I love your dog. :beer3:

If you find Craig's telephone number, would you please post it? I have yet to find a groomer that does a good job on large hairy dogs.

The last one, recommended by phanatic lvr, must be very busy as she never returned my call.

I would gladly pay extra for a mobile groomer.

PS: Love your dog. And I bet she was happy as a pig... well, never mind! I would call her a golden-muddle.

Bet the car needed a lot of work too. I remember my dog Ashes biting her tail on the way home from Virginia Lake in Reno, Nevada around 1982. My car looked like I had a hobby of enforcing the law for the casinos. The car had blood all over each windows from Ashes bleeding while chasing her tail. I was pretty gory as well. The whole mess looked like a Sam Peckingpah movie trailer.

Update: I did reach phanatic lvr's groomer, Michelle, today. She is a mobile pet groomer, and her number is (954) 551-9900. She will give us a try on Nov. 17. She has a herniated disc, and it will all depend on if our guy will walk up the ramp and get into the tub. He does that at Doggie Doo Run Run, so fingers crossed.

Price for our golden will be $65 for the standard trim (not summer cut).

BTW, I know it's not as close as Atlas, but we zip up to DDRR (301 to right on 104 to straight into the dog park). There are no muddy spots there. It's $3/visit or $25/month for unlimited visits. Not to bad mouth Atlas, which is great and had a lot of hard work put into it, but DDRR is a different option. It has been around long enough to have thought of everything. There is an agility section, two grassy fields, small dog section, covered seating, and a fenced in area with covered wading pool with cement pavers around it. There is also a bathtub mounted waist high with a ramp leading up to it, complete with hand-held shower handle. I bathe our golden once a week there.

Instead of picking up after your dog, you place an orange flag into the ground. An employee picks everything up. It's the cleanest dog park I've ever seen, and I think it is because of this practice.

I saw a guy from a van that said mobile dog groomer digging a hole at that dog park.

JUST KIDDING. Your pup is so beautiful.

Good to know as DDR will be closer to the home we are renting while we are there in December! But, I want to go to Atlas to see the memorial bench Mom and I got in memory of my Dad, brother and sister-in-law. I do wish there was a shady area in Atlas for my mother!
