Good job Sen Obama !

I am defintely not a fan of Sen Obama, and I dont know what is true or not true in this case, but in listening to Sen Obama now in his statement....he did some kind of political job......again, dont know who is telling the truth or not, but he sure did a nice job politically...

HE called Sen McCain this morning to issue a joint statment......since...

Sen McCain has come around to things that Sen Obama has been saying !

Cant dispute it but this kind of thing, to me, makes political points !

Actually it is true....Sen. McCain's campaign has verified that Obama called at 8:30, it was in the morning, to see if he was interested in issuing a joint statement about the financial crisis.

Thanks Bucco for posting this.

BUCCO! WOOOAAHHHH! I can't believe that I just read this...and that you wrote it! See he really is not so bad!

It's about time the three senators stopped "interviewing" for a new job while being paid as senators and went back to work AS senators.

I care less about them than I do for all of us, and the only way any of them can show they care about the American people is to start EARNING their money.

They wanted the job as senator, and it's high time they went back to DC and did that job right before seeking anything else.

Cassie..dont get carried away...he is still what I think he is, but in this case it would appear that he politically outmaneuvered Sen McCain.

My question for you is this and please forget the pundits...should they be at work now in the senate or on tv debating ?

Guest 09-24-2008 06:56 PM

It really doesn't matter who called who first about whatever. The bottom line is that if Sen. McCain is in DC doing the "people's business" and Sen. Obama is on the campaign trail, then it is a big win for McCain. He will geet credit when the bailout bill passes. Was this politically motoviated? What isn't?

Geez...I my job I am expected to do more than one task at a time....

Obama call McCain to make a joint statement then McCain went on to grandstand.

Its not all in Obama hands....the debate commission really controls the debates and they said no.

I know...but I needed a good laugh!

As far as the debates...my thought is that Obama is right....they can do BOTH....but hoenstly I think the should move the debates to the Washington area....or just outside of the area....

Then they could do both! Imagine that!

Bucco...side note....I think that on the day after the elections...you and I will meet....and I will buy a long over due cup of coffee...and we will toast to our futures!!!
