Police

Has anyone else noticed police are out in full force. We were sitting at Spanish Springs this afternoon for an hour. We saw the same police car go by at least 5 times. Three police cars the other day parked on the side at red light 466/Buena Vista. nothing wrong with this...just asking if you have noticed...

The police cannot win. Some complain they are not visible enough, others say they are too visible.

That is a good sign, it shows they are not inundated with Calls For Service and they have time for routine patrol.

Bogie Shooter, comment not meant to be negative. In 10 years never noticed them as much as lately.

They can park on my street 24/7 as far as I'm concerned---I'll even bring them donuts!

Good time to remind residents to put a "blue light bulb" in their Post Light to signify support of the police.

I hear that love seeing the cops around

Next time you see them say thank you.

Three times at least.

if you are seeing them more in the neighborhoods, they as promised, are stepping up patrols in response to complaints of speeding in select neighborhoods.

They are also setting up speed traps in some neighborhoods specifically targeting golf cart speeders.

When police respond to neighborhood complaints I am always happy to see more police to tame the abundent reckless/careless driving here in TV.
And amused if and when it is one of the compaliners that gets nailed.

:D

Glad they are out and about. Buy them some yogurt rather than donuts.

Thank you from a retired LEO. This is all fine and dandy, but, as soon as one of the entitled is stopped and given a citation, the bashing will begin; not saying from y'all but from the entitled who think laws or rules don't apply to them. Sorry, just the way it is.

I wish I could find a blue bulb with a candelabra base for my post light.
