Shoe Color
 

The video we are all watching warns ladies about shoe color at the bars. Are we talking about a secret code?

ya got me....I am a woman, (maybe not a lady ;-)), but I I have never heard of shoe color giving a secret code.

I may be wrong about this because I never read the book but I think the comment refers to the book "Leisureville" by Andrew Blechman in which he said that if a woman wore red shoes at Katie Belles she was "available."

I think this goes way back folks, back "The Greatest Generation"...I think. Something about if a woman wore silver shoes she is available...and if a man wore, say, a blue shirt, he is available.

I've heard that it is gold shoes meant she was available or looking.

And what if she is not wearing shoes????

and ruby slippers meant she was from kansas

She ain't about to make a mistake!!!

Since he mentioned it in the same breath as a key party, I got a feeling it means more than shes available..

My neighbor wore gold shoes to Katie Bells and she was asked if they were in or out by one of "The Swingers"

I liked to wear 2 different colored shoes when I went to Katie Belles. With that look women, swingers, and everybody else leaves you alone.
