Obama truly subscribes to the lie often enough becomes the truth
He uses one GOP candidates comment as a general condition to facilitate his agenda.
He continues to redefine in his terms what is going on in the world. And the usual, what he is doing is right and is working. President Obama: Stop giving in to terrorism fear - POLITICO He must be patterning his behavior after that of Kim Jong Ill. With no re-election to be concerned about he has actually become somewhat menacing to the true American ideals. A very important one he completely ignores....that of doing thte will of the people. The only opportuity to keep him in check is a majority congressional stance....and that is not likely at this point in time. Maybe if things get worse!?!?!?!?!?! |
The empty suit brought to you by America's media lemmings!

Obama, the coward and bully.

Whine whine whine!!!!!! We know his race, build a bridge and get over it.

You reactionaries are going to wear your little fingers down to the bone for the next 8 years typing your nasty comments about President Clinton. :1rotfl:
You should have learned that the majority of voters will vote according to certain elements. The Democrats have the black and other minority votes, the young people vote, the collee educated male vote (under 60), the female vote, and the socially conscious vote. Republicans have the leftovers. Also, don't forget the electoral college determines how the state goes. In Florida, all 29 votes will go Democrat because of the heavy Democrat areas of Miami-Dade, Tampa-Clearwater, and Orlando. Rant away - if it is your only pleasure instead of enjoying golf, softball, the pooll, volunteering for a charity, and the entertainment on the squares. |

When I hear progressives speak of Obama's performance, irrespective of educational background, race, gender, age or occupation I am struck as to how disengaged they are from reality. Rashamon's Effect may explain some of it but the vast amount of what they defend is in direct contradiction of facts and statistics often citing government statistics.
Yet despite his failed presidency progressive actually are celebrating the same failed policies and leadership by supporting Hillary Clinton. Obama and Clinton are literally doing more damage to this nation than ISIS ever could and progressives are saying give us more of the same. This response may be labeled differently by different people but it is clearly if nothing else simply illogical. Personal Best Regards: |

We know who is answering within the first few lines. The response never has anything to do with the thread. The response very quickly moves into the name calling and snipining at the opposition. And always ends up with some jumping up and down about winning this or that....... End result? The usual no value added, party line, in your face, disrespect for others. We totally understand for these people they have no options. And must carry the flag no matter what!! And yes we do acknowledge the minority reports!! |

How many Republicans have been voted out of office by one of their own? How far right do you have to go to get the Republican nomination for president? So far right that Romney couldn't beat a president that has done more damage to this country than a terrorist organization. Somehow you don't see the problem with that. Somehow the whole lot of you here don't think the Republicans have had anything to do with the current state of politics in this country. You really are living in a world of your own. |

Party hacks, and "hacks" is my word for deep adoration for a particular ideology simply makes them say the other side is the cause of all our problems, and do it as this poster has done...with no specifics, just one big condemnation. "Republicans and Democrats are more divided along ideological lines – and partisan antipathy is deeper and more extensive – than at any point in the last two decades. These trends manifest themselves in myriad ways, both in politics and in everyday life. And a new survey of 10,000 adults nationwide finds that these divisions are greatest among those who are the most engaged and active in the political process." "Partisan animosity has increased substantially over the same period. In each party, the share with a highly negative view of the opposing party has more than doubled since 1994. Most of these intense partisans believe the opposing party’s policies “are so misguided that they threaten the nation’s well-being.” Political Polarization in the American Public | Pew Research Center It is apparent on this forum, as most posters are not interested in what is happening; do not care if their "heros" are corrupt or make errors; they simply come on here and make one line comments about "the other side" and both sides do it. "1) The two parties purified themselves ideologically 2) As politicians polarized, so did many Americans 3) The urban-rural divide grew into a gulf, reflecting diverging interests and values 4) Immigration was rising, leading to larger racial and ethnic divisions 5) The net effect of all these trends is that partisans dislike one another more intensely 6) Meanwhile, rule changes and culture changes in Congress made it harder to maintain cross-party friendships 7) The media environment changed, making it easier for partisans to confirm their worst suspicions, and putting greater pressure on politicians to play to the extremes 8) As the costs of campaigns increased, politicians have become increasingly afraid of offending their party’s donors 9) When the Soviet Union collapsed, the United States lost a common enemy that had once unified the country 10) The end of the Cold War coincided with the baton pass from the Greatest Generation to the baby boomers, who may be more prone to hyper-partisanship" https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...rse-than-ever/ Each of the ten are broken down in the link, facts and statistics provided along with graphs to illustrate each. A third link might be this... http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/12/up...-politics.html All good reading and informative but I doubt anyone really will read them or care a lot about what is in them. As you might read the title of the threads and then what is actually discussed, you will find that any thread that has facts, links or promotes an actual discussion is either totally dismissed and not even read, or the thread subject is completely changed to get back to the "National Enquirer" kind of stuff. Notice also that IF someone disagrees with a thread, they....I will use the term NEVER use links or facts to dispute what is said, but simply attack either the poster of attack either conservative or liberal but avoid facts like the plague. Most do not really care about politics. They are here looking for some banter, or an opportunity to attack those they consider their enemy. On the list above, #1, to me, is very important. Used to be that within the Democratic Party AND the Republican party there were liberal and conservative factions.. Now that they are purified, you get the extremes on both sides, and please understand the posters on here, for the most part, EXTREME in their beliefs. It would be so refreshing to hear someone come on here to defend ANY politician being criticized and do it with substantial facts, and not simple general comments. We have been treated to revised history to make a point, unsubstantiated rumors received in emails, cliches that have been debunked but still used. We accept today's comments from our politicians without making them explain away their past comments, OR we make a weeks worth of news over a slip of somebodies tongue. For me, the saddest thing is that we totally ignore someones character, we make light of lying, we defend "our side" no matter the situation involved. My opinion, we the voters are breaking this country in pieces. I am old enough it probably makes no difference to my life, but I think of our children and grandchildren and the concern for what is being made in this country keeps me up at night. |
