RV parks

Hey guys,
We want to make a trip to Florida in our RV. Please, advice any good camping sites near the Villages. Also, we will be buying a gas lantern there. Can you offer any place where we can drop quickly.
thanks very much

We have a friend who parks RV at KOA on 44 near I 75. I think KOA Campgrounds have certain standards.

The closest ones are Southern Oaks on 441 just north of The Villages and Recreation Plantation (the closest) on Rolling Acres Road and 466. Both very nice with full hookups.

I thought so too.

Why critique the OP? I believe Southern Oaks is right next to CampingWorld.

I don't see where the OP mentioned Southern Oaks. Not a bad choice but there are others. I drove by it tonight and noticed they are adding new concrete pads, maybe for Park Model rentals, near 441/27 where they had used RV's for sale.

OP: I would buy a lantern at Walmart; battery operated. Mantles for Gas and Propane are too much bother.

Didn't mean to steal your signature response, should have put "///"

Nada

When you want to delete a response there isn't a delete option so you can manually erase it and put a short meaning less response in its place.
