After watching the equipment necessary to keep the carnage down a bit in California, I wonder if this still applies...

"President Barack Obama announced new efforts to demilitarize America’s police departments on Monday, telling an audience in Camden, New Jersey that heavily-armed police forces have left many local residents feeling alienated and intimidated.

“We’ve seen how militarized gear can sometimes give people a feeling like there’s an occupying force,” Obama said. “We’re going to prohibit some equipment made for the battlefield that is not appropriate for those police departments.”

It will apply as long as Obama is in office.

His view of the military and the police or any law enforcement is to emasculate them and turn this country into a paper tiger.

He is incompetent in yet another segment of what it takes to be a world leader.

It is hard to not view him as an opposition sympatizer, of course muslim and black partial.

Imagine where Obama would be today if he didn't have the secret service available to protect him.

I would be careful if I was you.... This could be considered a threat against the President...

Why don't we consider demilitarizing the general public. Why could these people buy 1,600 rounds of ammo? Why are allowing body armour to be sold to the general public?

obama is nothing but a jack a-s if you know what I mean. Vote for Trump he really may be our only hope. I heard it said Trump will succeed his ego is to large to let him fail, maybe thats good. Hillary is on the gun thing again and she hasnt a clue . One more step to one government world.

Body armour sales to the general public? How many of your neighbors or friends or neighbors of friends have it?

The sensationalizing of an incident (not in any way minimizing the CA or any other shooting...it is an incident) and the generalizing what two individuals did or had or wear as if it were a general condition across America.

Stricter gun laws? These folks bought guns in a state that has some of the most strict gun laws in the USA!!!!

The reality? Stricter gun laws is like srticter speed limits. North of here on 301 there is a town known to nail speeders. Guess what? Everybody slows down going throygh there.

Everybody slows down at school crossing ONLY BECAUSE THEY KNOW A COP IS THERE.

Then when out of that little town or out of the school zone everybody goes right back to speeding.

Now imagine for a minute trying to identify who it is that are the speed limit offenders. How would you go about identifying them. When you do what do we do? Take their license away? Take their car away?

That is the size of the task when mindless calls for gun control are parrted with the brain in gear..

They were NOT assault rifles. Yes, I understand that the original news report stated that they had assault rifles but then they came out with the information on the weapons and they only looked like assault rifles. They were common AR-15 type rifles that anyone can purchase. It is possible to modify them to shoot automatically like a machine gun, but the report does not supply that information. We have to be careful NOT to exaggerate when dealing with gun control liberals because we only fuel rhetoric.

The majority of them have one never owned or operated or were trained in the use of a fire arm.

And two it is obvious by their rhetoric the have absolutely no clue what so ever about the terms they are parroting from their favorite news source who know even less about the subject.

All that matters is they get their venom injected to the subject and it does not matter to them if true or not or accurate or not.

THEY MUST STICK TO THE GUIDELINES GIVEN.....no matter how stupid it may make them appear.
