Is there a Dick's Sporting Goods near TV?
 

One requirement of TV living will be a good, fairly low cost, sporting goods store. Is there a good one close to TV? Here in Hoosierland, we have Dick's and MC Sports locally which are chain stores. I seem to need to stop by a sporting goods store only slightly less often than a grocery.

Another question is the availability of one or more good massage therapists that can do deep tissue massage. Any good ones that can get the kinks out?

The closest Dick's is in Ocala I believe...a brand new one....

As far as massage therapists go...there are a wealth of them....I think the Wellness Center is running a special this month....

Cassie's right. It's in Ocala. Take 75 north to exit 350 and make a left on 200. It's a bit past Sam's on 200.

Nothing wrong with Dick's... but you should really give Gander Mountain a look. It is a brand new store in Ocala and it is fabulous for all kinds of outdoor activities.

I've shopped from Gander Mtn's catalog, and it has a wide variety of sporting goods. I've never been to one of their retail outlets, but have been to Cabela's (another huge catalog sporting goods house) and their stores are awesome. So if GM is anything like it, it's worth a trip.
However, they are more of a hunting-fishing-camping kind of store, so if you are looking for golf related stuff, Dick's will meet your needs better. If you want a gun rack for your golf cart, or a host of other outdoors kind of stuff, Gander Mountain is a good place to check out!

Sporting store just South of Orlando, near the Sma's Club on Route 200.

Regarding massage therapist....one of the best locations is Tuscany Day Spa & Salon in Lake Sumter Landing. They have a full service day spa on the premises.
Hair salon and nail work on the first floor.
A complete day spa on the second floor with all kinds of specialty massages and treatments.
They currently have a special going the month of October for 30% off all massages. Very nice quiet, professional environment.

My wife is addicted to the place, which is a testimonial unto itself as she is super particular.

Can you PM me any information about the reader response to current advertisers?
I know when I go to forums I am not in tune very much if at all with the advertising.

With as large a following as TOTV it seems like a good opportunity as long as most are not like me.
