Only one thing works for sure for anti aging, and none of us really want to choose that any time soon. I just hope I can age gracefully! :icon_wink:

Right, bro.

The least cost ways for anti aging is to get up and go somewhere or doing something.......and smile! No place to go or nothing to do....you aren't looking hard enough.....especially here in TV!

As wonderful as all the technology is today it can cause us to sit on our collective duffs more. But the same tecjnology provides so many ways to be much more active.

The more active the better.

The link just goes to the home page, no idea what article or drug you were referring to.

After just attending a medical meeting, the doctor advised that when looking at any of these wonder supplements that say "studies prove, etc." check to see if these are FDA studies. Many of these drugs are getting around FDA rules. I would suggest some additional checks, for example the supplement Prevagen has actually received negative comments and warnings from the FDA, not sure how they can still be advertising this stuff. The FDA wanted the proof for these "studies", nothing provided. Also, many of these supplements were never tested for interactions with other medications you might be taking.

Just a suggestion be careful out there.

Thank you for posting this. This can be an amazing drug for so many aging diseases and issues. I suspect it will have many uses in medical science i the future.

For those who didn't read the article, here is the link.

I did a Google search for "medical uses for methylene blue" there were lots of references, also followed up with "methylene blue side effects", which implies this has been in use for some time. Makes me very suspicious of new claims. This needs a lot more review.

Oh the vanity of baby boomers... 70 is the new 60 don't you know
anti-aging is an oxymoron. Every time I read about one of these miracle formula's or view it on television I harken back to those old time western were the professor is on a podium selling snake oil:D

Rubicon, It's not that type of "anti aging" drug. At least not as I see it. It's more of a medicinal drug for people who are aging too fast.

Yes, it's a drug that may help people who are born with this horrendous disease. I think there was a program on TV about children aging to be something like 70 years old by the time their chronological age is just 10. Imagine how much hope this may give parents who have a child suffering with this.

I've never gotten a malware alert on everythingzoomer.com

However, I have had my virus protection take down TOTV many times and not let me in for malware.

Hi angiefox:

This expert believes if progeria is controlled then the anti-aging aspects are controlled. Another expert believed if telemeres were prevented from fraying cells would not unravel and anti-aging anti disease would result.

I certainly am probably the least of the great thinkers but it appears that this magnificent vessel we call a body that houses our thinking, feeling, doing processes is so complex that a "one size fits all" solutions feeds into mankind's desire for youth and immortality.

I understood early on that my youth would be short lived.
I accepted that the barrier to my immortality was removed when my parents died. Will I live longer/shorter than my parents???????????I am certainly giving living on the old college try.

I will leave you with this:

Tithonus by Alfred Lord Tennyson

The woods decay, the woods decay and fall,
The vapours weep their burthen to the ground,
Man comes and tills the fields and lies beneath,
And after many a summer dies the swan.
Me only cruel immortality
Consumes; I wither slowly in thine arms....

Having said all of that I do subscribe to the old saw that "hope springs eternal".

Personal Best Regards:
