Leave the Republican party?
 

Apparently, Dr. Ben Carson is threatening to leave the Republican party affiliation if they don't treat Trump fairly. There are rumors that the leaders of the party may not nominate Trump even if he wins the primary.

Personally, even though I do not really care for Trump if the people want him as their candidate for the general against Hillary then who do the GOP leaders think they are to deny the voter nominee what they rightly deserve/earned? So far, this seems to be rumor and speculation.

If the rumors are true, I believe that I would probably change my affiliation to Independent. I would not tolerate this kind of corruption, IF true.

I am interested in what other REPUBLICANS might know about this issue. I do know that if Trump doesn't get the nomination after winning the primary, he will run independent and that would be an automatic win for the other side. Or, is this just a conspiracy theory generated to scare the voters into voting one way or another?

If you won't tolerate corruption I'd forget about all three major parties.

The problem is define winning the primary. If anyone does have enough delegates to win on the first ballot, they haven't won the primary. If the Republican higher ups don't think that Trump could win the election, why would they nominate him?

Trump knows that he can't win as a third party candidate. He hasn't stuck his hand in his pocket yet. What makes anyone think that he would dip into to fund a losing cause. That would be stupid, and we all have been told a thousand times by Trump himself how smart he is.

You know very well that Trump signing a pledge he will not run as an independent was a waste of ink and paper. If (When) he is not the GOP nominee, he will run as independent and will say he is great businessman and the pledge was bogus - and that he will treat any treaty or contract the same way when elected President.

Hilary may win, but then she will immediately face an impeachment for her felonious perpetration of mishandling of classified material. She might be president for a couple of months, but then I guess she could say she won...even if for a minute. She is pond scum. And as far as America winning, I think you are full of BS if you think anyone but you would think like that. No one wants America to be known as blatantly unethical, corrupt and weak. And we are already known as weak, thanks to the likes of Obama.

If the FBI doesn't arrest Hillary, congress will get rid of her. Just like scraping dog stuff off of their shoes. And then the process of eliminating the hand outs begins. And NO Social Security is not a hand out and neither is Medicare. Both are paid for during one's total working career. So get over it.

Not really arguing with you on this, but if he gets the popular votes and the delegates do not nominate him, how do you think he will react? He's practically a Democrat, and once was one. He will be treated unfairly if that occurs, and he would justify his actions according to that mistreatment. I have no idea if he is an honorable person or not. My initial thoughts when Trump entered the race was that he was doing it to take the heat off the other candidates and then would eventually drop out.

You can't seriously believe that the Republicans have enough votes to impeach her. The Republicans could very well lose the majority in the Senate, if Trump is their candidate. Then, impeachment never sees the light of day.

I see no indication that the Senate is going to lose the majority. There will be less of a Democrat turnout to vote than probably ever before. Hilary won't have the overwhelming black vote that Obama had. And she won't have the majority of the Independent vote. Many women that voted for the first black president, won't vote for Hilary as the first female because they find her despicable. So, I will predict a low Dem voter turnout. The ONLY way she can win is if the GOP vote is split. The only way.

Trying to impeach Hillary would turn out the same as trying to impeach her husband. The Party of No and constant negative rhetoric has done more to drive voters to the Democrat Party than anything Hillary has said or done. We wouldn't have Obama Care if our party had come up with a reasonable health care program instead of say NO and doing nothing about health care.

You got the parties mixed. That is a definite democratic position...say or do anything that gets what they want.

Unless Trump is playing a game to purposely get Clinton elected he will not jeopardize the party he has earned his following with. Does anybody in their left mind really think those who support Trump for all they view that he represent their wants.....would toss those beliefs to the wind for sake of following Trump and assuring a democratic win....Clinton if she HAPPENS to be the dem candidate.

You are going against the grain, when you say there will be a low voter Democratic turnout out. There have been plenty of articles that you need a 35+ percentage of Hispanic vote for a Republican to win the presidency. Trump will never come close to that number. Where did you see hat women find Hillary despicable?

I don't want Hillary as our next president. If she is elected, the next four years will be worse that the last 7 in getting nothing done.

If Trump is on the ticket as a republican or independent, Hillary is President. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

That's your opinion. The problem with it is that there are way too many folks that can't stand Obama's policies and tyranny. Republican voters that don't like Trump will still hold their noses and vote for him if given no other choice. But, if he splits the vote then yes, Hilary wins. IF she is not in jail.

Rubio will win the nomination though. And Trump will bow out, IF there is no tampering with the election. I'd suggest that the delegates do the right thing and let the voters decide.

Bill was impeached for his lying about his out of marriage sexual activity in the whitehouse, he just wasn't remove from power. Slick Willie has dipped his wick before and will continue to be unfaithful, but Hillary didn't care then and don't care now. All about power, anybody else would of dumped the womanizer back in Arkansas 30 years ago. For one democrats are loosing seats and will probably continue to loose seats. Secondly, the only voters running to the democrat party are illegal ones or indoctrinated ones. That's the bases behind the Obama/Clinton open boarder program. IMO With the indoctration of public, private schools, and colleges across the nation by liberal democrats teachers and professors for 100% retirement, grants and study money to sustain the liberal voting base all about money.

As for hilabitch she got lots of unanswered questions and whether Obama can shield her from FBI charges before election time and she has plenty of opponents to tell more lies and get caught in more lies.

As for Obama care it's good for the hand out crowd anybody else are screwed and the worst is yet to come. IMO Basically, Obama care was insurance lobbyist kickback health care program. You party didn't even read it, they just pushed it through when they had control. Now anybody that works for living seeing the result and IMO it only going to get worse and cost the working people more.
