The majority of republicans are mean spirited. After reading comments in different posts and watching the republican debates its glaring. Rude and offensive comments is the norm. Character assassination is so prevalent. The republican party is made up of several different ideologies. The end of the republican party as we knew is imminent.

Well if you had a presient trying to destroy the country you love you be mean spirited to. Evidently you like the mess we are in.

People debating can be heated, but at least ideas are exchanged and solutions are formed. Whereas what you have for the Democrats are a business as usual solution where the US is being globally ruined by their "we're sorry for being great and a leader in world affairs". You wouldn't have most any rights you have now if it weren't for nationalism put forth by the Republicans.

I'm so glad some people can justify rudeness, pettiness, name calling and the like because they don't like what is happening and goes against their sensibilities. Strangely, I loathed Reagan (still do, for that matter), felt he was leading this nation down a path of fiscal ruin, thought Star Wars was the second biggest joke right after Nancy's just say no campaign, but not once did I ever calll him a name nor denigrate the office of the Presidency the way so many of youRepublicans here have. Reality is you're either mean spirited or not. What is happening to this country, what Obama and Hillary say and do is irrelevant. You choose what you say and do, so at least man up enough to take responsibility for your actions and not blame them on things you don't like in others.

So were our forefathers (that settled this great country) look what we did to the Native Americans! Now we have the power to destroy known civilization and we just could do it. Very Scary!

42% of that debt was sold to SOCIAL SECURITY. Our creditors JAPAN and CHINA own roughly 20% together.

And their only reply is "Obama made us this way." Speaks for itself. They are unable to take responsibility for anything, its always Obama's fault. The Republicans control the Senate and the House, and they STILL can't get anything done. What a bunch of losers.

Does not matter much to the rest of the world BUT, I am only here due to the dropping of the neutron bomb. My father would have been among the first for an invasion of the Japanese homeland. The death tole was predicted at a million American troops. As in Germany, Japan would have sent in Old men, women, AND CHILDREN. As in Germany, our troops would have great difficulty killing CHILDREN. OH, and after surrender, MCARTHUR after the bombing of pearl harbor without declaring war and still talking peace and the BATTAN DEATH MARCH, McArthur treated the Japanese with great RESPECT.

Cut them some slack. They gained control of the Senate, and House by making promise that they can't keep. Things aren't getting done, and they are upset. That has to be frustrating. Too bad, so sad! When you think that you will get everything that you want, you aren't in the real world. It isn't all about you.

Maybe getting their butts kicked in the next election, if Trump is their nominee, will bring them back to sanity. I wouldn't bet on it.

Trump always sites the polls on how he doing against his Republican counterparts, but never the polls on how he is doing against Hillary. He loses big. When he points out, where someone that attacks him, position on the debate stage is, the attacker should point out that Trump would be here, if polls against Hillary was the basis of debate stage position.

If Hillary wins, the next four years ( 2017- 2020) will be worse that the last eight. She is a bitch, who will be dealing with bastards. She is old, but probably has never gone through the change of life. She has a disease called "permanent period".

I just found out there was a 1st debate before the debate where the mean-spirited meanies tossed around their meanie words. That’s wasn’t particularly interesting news until I found out one of the participants was Karl Sternovich. I googled Karl.

This is what I found. “Karl Sternovich does not exist and is probably one of those Marvel villains you never heard of until your geek friend says "Oh wow, they teased Karl Sternovich in the post-credit sequence in Ant-Man" so now you have to look him up on MarvelWiki." Then you find out his criminal alias is Doctor Accordion aka The Telescoping Man and you're like, "Oh. They tricked me into being briefly interested in insipid nonsense again."

I think this is a parody but if there’s any possibility that he is The Telescoping Man, he’s getting my vote.

Ever heard of the term "VETO?" Obviously, you slept through civics class. The first two years, the Dems had TOTAL control and what did we get out of it? Obamacare. They were even too lazy to read it before passing it. I guess you do make a good liberal.
