Coming Down I-95 - Best Way to Get There
 

I will be coming to TV from Akron Ohio via I-95 the first week of December for a months stay. I was at TV last year for a day and am coming back to really check things out. I have a LOT of questions after spending all year researching and reading everything I can about TV. The drive is about 18 hours and I can hardly wait to get going.

What is the best way to get to TV coming down I-95. A number of people suggested I-95 / I-295 / I-10 / 301 but I am considering I-95 / SR-40. The 301 may be shorter but the speed traps of Waldo, Starke and Lawtey will slow the drive time. Also not having driven on the 301 for a number of years I am not sure where the speed traps are and I always turned off just north of Waldo on CR-225. I do not know the road speeds or if it is stop and go from Waldo to TV.

I have made the drive from Daytona Beach on SR-40 and SR-44 last year so I know what to expect there. SR-40 was a nice drive and you can make time. SR-44 was good for a nice Sunday drive but I will be wanting to get to TV.
