Good Produce Market?

Hi everyone,
Where do you buy good fresh produce in or near TV? The grocery stores near us seem to have rather limited offerings, so I figure there must be a place we don't know about.

Thanks so much for the guidance!

Is it the quality that you feel is lacking or the variety? Seems to me that Sweetbay has every vegetable or fruit you could think of. Not sure about quality but the Hannafords up here in MA (Sweetbay's parent company) have very acceptable quality.

I'm sure that there must be some local produce marts in/near Wildwood. I think someone on this site mentioned one on 301. Try the search above.

Produce Stand

There is a very nice produce stand on 466 right past the new Sante Fe shopping plaza. The man that runs it was extremly infomative and very friendly. They are open six days a week.

I think Sweetbay @ Sumter landing has a pretty good produce section.
One of the things we do is buy our own lettuce and then go through the salad bar they have to pick up things like black olives, brocoli floweretts, mushrooms, peppers, etc.
And, there is a produce market on the way to Wildwood on 301 between 466 and 44. I don't know hours, prices or quality but it's an option.

Produce market

I found a produce market that is open Fri., Sat., and Sun on 441/27 between 466a and 466 on the east side. Good selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. Part of a small flea market.

I agree its called Markets of Marion and you cannot beat their produce or prices...well worth the ride ! We picked up some oranges this week that have only been in the market for the past 2-3 weeks. They had seedless watermellons for $3..where Publix had the same thing for $6. A great basket of radishes cost $1. Great variety of apples!

Very helpful, thanks. It's been the selection that we've been surprised at, but we haven't been to Sweetbay. We will try the stands as well. Thanks so much!
