Best place to buy golf clubs

Hi,

I did a search on this forum and couldn't find anything relevant to purchasing golf clubs. Can anyone recommend a good place to get a set?

Was not clear if you meant new, knock off or name brand, your expertise, etc.

What I do may not fit what you need, but here goes anyway...

It has been a long time since I have bought new clubs. All of my 'woods' including rescues have come from 3balls.com. Great site and service.

My irons were a demo set I bought from 'my pro' when I belonged to a club in MA. $900 Mizunos for $400 and one year old:thumbup:

I am due for a set of irons. Besides looking on 3balls, I will look at Palmer CC out back in the club making section. They have quite a selection of used iron sets.

Good luck.

The question is too vague, so the answers will not be very useful.
Tell us about your game or your golf plans.
Also include if you expect guests to visit who play casual golf.

Not sure what you are looking for but we find Jim's Golf shop fair and knowledgeable.

Do you have any 'golfer's elbow' pain in your right elbow? If so, consider getting graphite shafts in your irons.

In 1995 at the age of 50, I was having some pain, so I got irons with graphite shafts. The pain went away and never came back. Also don't hit balls at a range with firm mats.

Another vote for Jim's Golf Shop. We worked with Justtin and he was very helpful. We purchased two sets of Adams Blue. We are beginner golfers.

Thanks. We bought at Jim's. Nice people, knowledgeable. Saw the same set at one of the golf shops right in TV and it was considerably more than I paid.
