Democrat House Resolution-Muslim hate speech
 

House Liberals have sponsored a resolution against hate speech of Muslims. Interesting how low they will go to get a few Muslim votes. They do seem desperate, in my opinion.

You can read the whole resolution if you wish, but I supplied a few of the interesting points/excerpts.

"Whereas this Muslim community is recognized as having made innumerable contributions to the cultural and economic fabric and well-being of United States society;"


" Whereas the rise of hateful and anti-Muslim speech, violence, and cultural ignorance plays into the false narrative spread by terrorist groups of Western hatred of Islam, and can encourage certain individuals to react in extreme and violent ways: Now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the House of Representatives—

"(1) expresses its condolences for the victims of anti-Muslim hate crimes;"

"(3) denounces in the strongest terms the increase of hate speech,............."

"(4) recognizes that the United States Muslim community has made countless positive contributions to United States society;"

BTW, were they referring to the contributions by muslims such as Osama bin Laden, Major Hassan, that lovely San Bernadino couple and numerous others. Or just the contributions of muslim clerics in radical mosques, or the financial contributions of Iran and others that support these barbarians.

I'll answer that for the OP

The point is: What kind of morons would propose such a resolution, and worse yet, what kind of morons would vote for them? I suggest, since they have such love for muslim contributions, they can move to a muslim country and see what they have built for themselves, and how they govern it.

It's very curious that if we go to these foreign lands and act as they act here we'd possibly be stoned to death. Seems rather one sided. We have to be sensitive to their needs, wants, religion, way of life yet they don't have to return the favor.

and no...it wasn't me that asked that question...but it was you who used that stupid word "snarky". A word designed to cover any comment designed to reflect the holier than though attitude of the person using it.

They asked because they wanted to know if they had a point to make in lieu of just trying to stir the pot. Seems a reasonable request to a sane person. If taken in context your comment was actually nastier than the person who asked "Your point is?".

If you need ask, then the post is over your head. I believe the point of the post is some what evident, but I guess I could have supplied the article that had this linked to it. However, I felt that the conservative "bias" would have been a bit too much for our liberal friend. I would not like to see his head explode just prior to the new year. :boom:

An attempt to mandate another hate crime, and limit free speech? I guess the campus mentality has permeated to the public sector.

For the Muslims that we have in The Villages - we should tell them to go back to Syria where they came from?

I also believe there are a few Muslim Congressmen who were voted into office. Shall we revoke their citizenship - even though they were born in the US (unlike Rafael Cruz, Jr) and send them to Syria, too?

Did anyone suggest that they have their citizenship revoked? And maybe it is not such a bad idea, IF they are Anti-American and pro-radical Islam.

These terms conservative and liberal. Let's see you are conservative if you take away the rights of an American Citizen to make a decision for herself and you are liberal if you want to give her that right. hmmmmm! Conservative or Liberal is more complicated depending on the subject matter I would say.
