How many participants do you think are active in this political forum?

My guess is less than 20 and maybe even 12 might be a stretch.

I don't mean different ones that may have posted at one time or another....I mean the daily few of us who state, counter and counter again....daily.

I am also guessing out the the 12 to 20 active players there are maybe 2-3 who are the troll/baiter/antagonizing/discourteous, nasty, disrespectful labelers.

Just curious.

I know we have a lot of guests!!

I think 2-3 baiter/haters is way too low. Check out how many can't say their point without mud slinging. Not too many.

Based on the tone of the comments posted here on a rather regular basis - about 7 or 8.

This guess is based on the number of regular posters we had on this board before it was shut down last time.

Based on the 72 views and only 5 replies, maybe around 5-8.

What difference does it make?

I am glad that this site is providing a service that doesn't stipulate a PC requirement. Even if some are rude on here, I prefer to ignore rather than see them ejected. Having the "guest" feature for identity is also nice, in that a poster is not followed and harassed. With political rhetoric heating up, it is interesting to see some peoples' take on today's political issues.

I think that not being allowed to be "recognized" may be a deterrent to at least one of the posters who still goes to Topix to split into a number of people. He doesn't read like anything but pure anger to most people, and I believe it is alcohol fueled. But he lives here, and he is entitled to his opinion.

And maybe he doesn't live here, but likes to troll the Villages forum to anger the "old folks" with his wise @$$ remarks. Maybe he has a misplaced anger when he realizes that he may not have a future that looks good enough to be able to retire at an early enough age to enjoy The Villages as we do. So, since we are mostly conservatives, he feels it is our fault that he is going to have to scramble for the table scraps that are left over after the liberals get done dealing out what they confiscate from those that work, to the lazy mass that is growing larger every day.

I am a liberal, live in TV. I don't know about the other liberals that post. I am a moderate in my thinking. I agree with a number of Republican ideas. I also have 1 vote. The Democratic party represents my point of view more than than Republicans. I worked my whole life. Your opinions of all liberals being the same is just plain dumb.

My opinion of all liberals is the same, I don't respect them. Democrats, on the other hand are not all the same. Not ALL Democrats are totally liberal/socialist. Therefore, I reserve my opinion and give them the benefit of doubt until they prove otherwise. I am sure that you feel the same way about Republicans? I would be interested in hearing what you consider "moderate" in this day and age, because many of us would probably consider a most of today's Democrat ideology to be liberal/socialist.

I will admit that I am totally biased when it comes to fighting socialism, and proud of it. We have fought wars against socialism and communism. And the way today's socialists are progressing in this country, it won't be long before we have communism. The liberals have already attempted to ban religion in almost all areas. That's a trait of communism. And you can't have communism without first having socialism.

You know as well as I do that we have very discourteous liberal trolls that appear on here and you can tell by their comments that they are not only young, but most likely do not even live in Florida. One of them has even slipped on more than one occasion. I will respond in the same manner, mean and discourteous when slurred. I will not apologize for that.

"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Does that include voting for the democratic candidate no matter what?

Say Clinton for example who represents only herself....not democrats.
Who is a liar, a cheat, unqualified, felon under investigation!!!

I personally know many democrats who have stated they will not vote for her.
