lantana square bump out window

We have a lantana square bump front window. The top is irregular curve size and we need to find a solution for window treatment. It is being used as a back up for guests to sleep, so we really need light blocking aspect to it as well. Any lantana owners offer a solution?

I have a Lantana with a square bumpout and that curved window over the two in the bumpout. When we had our blinds installed, we also ordered a pleated fabric insert for that window. It doesn't completely block the morning light, but it does block the bright sun that shines in early in the morning. You can have your choice of fabrics...we opted for a white semi-opaque type. Have the same pleated "shade" on the curved window over the front door. Both work well. Darker fabric will let in less light, but remember it's highly visible from the street.

Thank you Pooh, I am frustrated as the store we went to here in jersey said it had to be a perfect "half circle" shape to make the pleats you suggest. Did you buy them near the villages? What store? Phone number so I can talk to them?

Got mine from Villages Blind and Shutter...they're pleated shades for an imperfect arch. These took a bit longer to get than the window blinds but were worth the wait, at least for me. They're not inexpensive, were about $230 each at the time I got them. http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r.../arches002.jpg

Here's the number for VB&S....352-330-4000.

Good luck. Let us know how you make out.
