Linens n Things is closing.
 

Liquidation sales may start as early as Thursday. Bed, Bath and Beyond's stock has risen 27%. I liked Linens n Things better than Bed, Bath and Beyond. For one thing you can hardly breathe inside BB & B because of overpowering fragrances.,

Why are they closing??

I preferred Linens N Things. The two stores nearest me closed over 2 months ago. :(

The official reason is "the slowed economy".

That they were being auctioned off & BB&B was not one of the bidders. I had just bought a gift card for someone & was told that once they are sold they will have big sell off, however the gift card will no longer be vaild,:cus: so if you have a gift card better use it before they set a clearance date.

I like both and don't really have a preference....BUT LNT is golf cart accessable....BB&B is NOT!!! Big difference for a lot of residents!!!

I visited the Linens n Things website.
I sent them an inquiry about the Lady Lake store closing and the official word is "no decision yet".
