Ophthalmologist referral desired for AMD
 

I have had macular degeneration for a number of years and Dr. Kaushal was my physician. He's no longer there and I do not have confidence in his replacement, therefore I am looking for another specialist. I use United Health Care (HMO) and am interested in any and all recommendations that fit the above.

BTW - Dr. Elias Maurofrides with FL Retina Institute has been recommended and is being considered.
