NCL cruise line
Has anyone travelled on the NCL cruise ships. If so, what is the majority age of the passengers.
We are thinking of cruising to Alaska and Bermuda. Any information you provide will be very helpful. Thank you |

Having said that, the newer ships may provide a better experience. Be warned that getting out of Dockyard in Bermuda can be time-consuming if two large ships are in at the same time. Take the ferry straight to St George's, rather than a bus or taxi the other way. |

NCL is known for their children's programs. The number of children will depend on your destination and time of year you cruise. For example: most likely less children will be on the Alaska tour than Bermuda. If you go to a destination when school is in session there will be less children.
I agree that you should investigate by going to cruisecritic.com. |
Thanks to everyone for the tips.

We did an Alaskan cruise on the Norwegian Pearl a few years ago, and it was a great trip. If your budget allows it, I would suggest booking a suite in The Haven and you will have a butler, dedicated concierge staff, a reserved seating area in the theater for the evening shows and a private restaurant for breakfast and lunch, where the service and food were very good. On the newer NCL ships, Haven guests have all those "perks" as well as a private restaurant for all three meals each day. If you stay in The Haven you also get priority boarding and debarkation at the ports. We are booked on the Norwegian Epic this November, for an eastern Caribbean cruise, and really looking forward to it!
I also sailed on the S/S Norway in the 80's and early 90's and enjoyed all of those cruises as well. Unfortunately, the Norway no longer exists. |
