Name that flower
There are a lot of these near the Lake Sumter cottages for the previews.
There are bush daisies near them , but these are blue. Mrs JohnN calls 'em a bluish-purple bush daisy, but we know it's not. Any thoughts? |
Is it cone flower? Echinecea?
|
is it Plumbago?

Now, Gracie, if I had called it the Lumbago Tree you woulda known it was a bad joke. :boxing2:
But, alas, Plumbago is for real and a common flowering plant in this area. Here ya go: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plumbago |
I don't care what Wikipedia says.
I don't believe you. What kind of name is that for a flower. Plumbago.:ohdear: |
Villages07, girl , you ARE good. It is a Plumbago. We now own a couple of 'em.
How do you do that? LOL.. thanks, John |
If you don't like plumbago Gracie you could call it by its other name....leadwort. Pretty little flower, terrible names.
