The Boy Next Door
 

At best a predictable and mediocre psychodrama produced by and starring Jennifer Lopez, as an English Lit teacher who gets involved with a demented student, and Kristin Chenoweth as an assistant principal. Although it's not the kind of movie I enjoy these days, what made me cringe was when the principal, played by Harper Hill, says to the English class students:

"Give Mrs. Petersen and I a second"

Really?

Sounds like an awful movie........

And, yet, in that wonderful movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Marilyn Monroe said things like, "Sometimes life is hard for a girl like I." -- And we loved it.

hmmmmmm, I wonder if that one is on Netflix......
