Chicken Salad Chick

Ate there today and was pleasantly surprised. Even though there was a line it moved quickly and we had no problem finding a table. There are a variety of chicken salads, soups and salads, or sandwiches. We chose the "Trio" where you can choose any 3 chicken salads, served with crackers, a cookie and a pickle! We could barely eat one scoop so we were able to bring enough home for 2 or 3 more meals! Excellent!

It's about halfway between Publix and Winn Dixie in LaGrande Plaza along 27/441, just south of the golf cart bridge.

Next to Sidewalk Cafe where Mario's was.

That's the menu sans prices.

Which one if either (Chicken Salad Chick & Sidewalk Café) will last - don't think there is enough business for both next to each other. Have seen a lot of different businesses in both spots.
Maybe we could start a pool?

Definitely would never make a bet that a business here will close. If they are good, I hope they can both make it. :)

Ate there yesterday, was excellent! Had the sandwich, which was almost too large, along with the apple cranberry salad. My husband also had the sandwich, but with the Broccoli salad. The meal comes with the "cookie of the day" also. Good prices, great food!

So nice to hear good reviews for a new eatery.

And no.....I don't think either will close. Betting on a failure? Really?

NYGUY 02-04-2016 03:58 PM

We are looking forward to trying it.

Do they offer the option of having their chicken salads on a sandwich?

wendyquat 02-04-2016 10:51 PM

Yes, you can have a scoop or a sandwich.

I could never bet on a business failing. We were a SBO and glad you were not betting on us

We went there for lunch today. The how you get your food routine is the same as McAllister's Deli in Brownwood (get in a line to order, find a table, they bring it to you) which I don't care for. I had soup and sandwich. My wife had a sandwich with a salad. The soup and salad were good. The chicken salad on the sandwiches was the consistency of ground chicken. No discernible pieces of chicken. It's not terrible, but not for us.
