Super Bowl Halftime

When I watched the halftime show with Cold Play, Bruno Mars, and Beyonce, I thought it as an exciting performance putting together different genres of music.

When I turned Fox & Friends on this morning for my 10 minute comedy spot before getting to see real news on MSNCC and heard that Beyonce's performance glorified Malcolm X because the dance troupe formed an "X"; their leather bustieres were a tribute to Black Panthers, and one dancer presumably had a sheet of paper with a political message - my evaluation of the halftime show went sky-high! I LOVED it!!!

Man, Fox News had to dig really deep to get those connections. I remember seeing Black Panthers in the '60's but NOT in leather bustieres.

Anyhow, great halftime show - now made even better by Fox News. Thank you, Fox News!

Yo wack job!

They like the other media got the info from their handler's/managers/helpers.

Are yo so tuned out you don't know how these things work?

You are once again tossing chum on the water and if everybody on here that knows that they, like I will not provide you any counterpoint. Counterpointing to zero continues to add to zero.

Enjoy your self gratification. I t has obciously become a habit.

MSNCC must be rated higher than MSNBC beings MSNBC at the bottom of barrel in ratings! What's that say about there limited viewers?

Now what makes anyone think that Beyonce's performance had anything to do with the Black Panthers that formed 50 years ago in the Bay Area?

Never saw a Black Panther in the leather bustiere nor the long stockings.

As for the black leather jackets, I have seen quite a few old wwhite dudes wearing them while riding their motorcycles. They don't remind me of Black Panthers either.

Anyhow, I liked the show and it was well received by most people.

The press releases specifically stated she was dedicating her routine to just exactly reported on fox and any other station/network that needed fill in material.

Ok so you liked it. The fox blast? Unfounded and unwarranted. But we all know to some that matters not.

Halftime sucked. Total chaos. Didn't really care about the Black Panther thing, but I can see the hint at it. Cold Play would have been enough. The National Anthem was done very nicely, even with the weirdo makeup. It's unfortunate that a woman with such talent finds it necessary to put weird costumes on. Unlike Miley Cyrus, Beyonce and several others, LG has talent and doesn't need the weird getup.

But, I watch the SuperBowl for the game, not the half time.

Hope I fed the troll enough to keep him occupied for a while. Idiots do need their childish taunting in order to keep them from becoming violent in school.

I thought Bruno Mars stole the show including the football. Couldn't hear the Coldplay dismal performance. Beyoncé was lack luster IMO. Even msn reporting the black panther connection, to the rant about Fox News is lame.

It was all downhill after lady gaga. Incredible how these low life's can't control their emotions and have personal foul penalties called against them. Football like many things American worships thugs.

If you think football is too violent for you, then turn the channel. "Control their emotions" ha, ha.....so lame.

Beyonc

It was obviously there. Artists making a statement about something they care about. We do have a First Amendment protecting this kind of thing.

I liked the half-time show at the 50th Super Bowl. It was edgy.

There is NO First Amendment when it comes to being paid to perform. You do what you are told to do and you don't change it to fit your radical agenda without permission of those paying you.

Her "black lives matter" cr@p was just that. Along with her black panther cr@p. Byonce is just another of the many low lifes populating the degenerate entertainment industry. Many of them with low talent and couldn't make it without their gimmicks. Half time has become the convenient time to prepare a snack without missing any of the game. The half time entertainment(?) is for the kids. Like the Occupy Wall St miscreants, this was just more chaos. Another great reason to have DVR so that you can fast forward through the teenybopper cr@p.

Here are a couple of links reporting the same news that some think fox fabricated.

Kicked in the Bowls: Beyonce sparks race row after controversial Black Power Super Bowl half-time show

Beyonce gets political at Super Bowl 50 with Black Lives Matter-themed performance | Daily Mail Online

The original post slamming fox, unfounded as usual, only emphasizes and underscores the fact that credibility is not a concern to some.

Oh you tell me over and over again my friend, you don't believe we're on the eave of destruction. Her performance didn't help any. Just more of the divide.
