It seems a lot of politicians are making promises they should know they cannot keep!!!!

It happens every two years. They count on American voters not being very bright. They are batting 1000 to date.

Good grief! You act like it hasn't been happening for over a 100 years.

What can a president do? Obama has done ANYTHING he wants to. Of course, he got away with it because anyone that resists him is accused of being a racist. Same thing will happen if we have a female president. Anyone that resists her would be deemed a sexist, so she would do anything she wishes......kind of like she has been doing for years and getting away with it.

And there is the question. Who is good for the job? I prefer the question of who is good for the country, but I also believe the two are related.

The president is given way too much power. He should not be making law. But, right now we have a president that can't get anything done because he is incompetent. So, he resorts to making his own laws, under guise of Executive Order. That is not what it was meant to be utilized for.

You meant to say that the President cannot get anything done because of the vow of the Republicans in Congress not to pass any legislation favorable to the President's image.

Speaking of incompetent, W issued 291 Executive Orders to Obama's 218.

the number of executive orders is not the score card. What were they for is what matters.

Does your commentary mean Obama is incompetent because he had fewer executive orders?

You certainly would not be promoting that having less executive orders is good without knowing the content and effect of those orders......would you?

Apples and Oranges. How many of Bush's EO's were challenged? How many were deemed unconstitutional? I realize that all you liberals find a need to use Bush to defend a weak and idiotic Obama, but you are just desperate.

National debt is now over $19 trillion. Looks like Obama will succeed in doubling the debt before departing the scene of the accident. Kind of a hit and run.
