Just a suggestion, before you go for a contractor, call or stop by the Sumter County building department. As I posted on an earlier thread there are DIFFERENT requirements based on the house (concrete, block, wood), and the intended use of the newly enclosed area. Once you have the CORRECT information, then get at least 3 bids based on the above information. You can also check with BBB and Seniors against crime for additional information on contractors.
Ask about: deposits, use of sub-contractors, estimated length of construction, payment schedules, etc. In any case, the successful contractor must get all of the necessary permits.
