Where Was Their Respect?
 

Maybe I missed it in the news.

How many of the Republican candidates took time out from their campaigning to fly back to Washington to pay their respects at Justice Scalia's casket?

From South Carolina to Washington and back by private jet is only about 4 hours and the private viewing would have been easy for them.

If I did miss that in the news, please show me a link. If not, the Republican candidates are just doing lip services which isn’t worth anything and shows them to be charlatans.

CNN reported that Ted Cruz and Heidi attended the funeral.

Trump tweeted out that Pres. Obama would have attended if the funeral was in a mosque. Trump has no class whatsoever.

They were listed right in front of the Clintons and the Snaders.....oh you did not care whether they went or not.

Just hammer the opposition while giving your party a free pass....as usual.

Yes, it was the Tea Bags giving Pres. Obama a rough time for not going to the funeral - so turnabout is fair play. Props to Cruz for attending.

Surely you all don't expect Obie to act presidential? His fatherless upbringing definitely hosed up his manners and respect for others. Surely after seven years of his occupation in the White House, you don't expect him to understand diplomacy or protocol. After all, he would be dwarfed by Scalia's giant stature and you know how Obie can't stand anyone being better than him.

In fact, if you google Tea Party images, you will find plenty of pictures showing Tea Party members wearing hats with Tea Bags around the brim or even dressed up as a giant tea bag.

If you want to call me a Tea Party member, which I am not, then I will take that as a compliment because I support what they believe in. I have never been to a Tea Party meeting, so I can not claim membership. But, pukes like you do not use that term as a compliment. Justice Scalia is being heralded as the greatest Justice to sit on the Supreme Court. He demonstrated many times that the language of the Constitution is not something to set aside because of one's political beliefs even to the point of ruling even those the decision trampled on his principles.

His comments regarding Obergefell point to his belief that the Supreme court has no right to decide issues that should be decided by people.

So here we have progressives who issued very disrespectful comments about Scalia's passing. We have a president who made a decision to skip the funeral His actions speak volumes is lack of character and they point to how small a person he really is because even in finality he places ideology over humanity. Chris Christie pegged it Obama is a petulant child.
