External floppy disc reader
 

I would like to borrow or buy an external floppy disc reader to view some old discs I believe may have pictures on them. ( I know that Amazon has them but not for a cheap price.)

I picked up a very inexpensive LG slim portable DVD wrier at Best Buy. Model SP80NB60 This would work I am sure. Don't exactly remember the price but it was not expensive.

I believe you can buy a brand new one on Ebay for around $10.00

Can't be many pictures they only hold 1.4 megs each.

I assume that you want to read a 3.5" disk, rather than an earlier 5.25" one?

If so, hopefully there is someone on TOTV with an old laptop that has one built in.

I have reader also, plugs into USB port, reads 3.5 disks.
