Previous Night Launch Video

Below is a copy of a post of a previous launch that is very interesting. Thanks to the person who did the video from The Villages.

Night launch

Indy Guy, thanks for pulling that up again. Great video, thanks also to the creator of the video. Almost like being there ........:coolsmiley:

Tonights launch was not at clear as the one that you can watch on the video that is listed. It is a must see to witness what can be seen form The Villages during a night launch. Take a few minutes to watch it is great!

Many thanks to the person who posted it originally.

Still in awe over this video. It was worth seeing again.

Thanks for finding it again, Indy

Wow

Indy-Guy - That is an amazing video. I've never seen one live and this really surprised me. Somehow I expected nothing but a streak, like a shooting star. Really incredible!
Thanks for posting!

Yes it is surprising what you can see as far away from blast off as The Villages is.

Wonderful Indy guy! Such a great video. Last nights differed in that it went right around the huge harvest moon. I was astonished that you could see it so clearly from so far away. The golf courses are such wonderfully clear sites and the villages are quietly lit at dark so no "big city" glare. It was the first time we had seen a launch.

The response from the crowd, all sitting in their golf carts, was so enthusiastic and warm. How great to share with people who are so responsive and like minded.

Great Video, thanks for posting. This week's launch was amazing to view, and easy to see from most open spaces in TV.

That would be me! I was curious why my site had 150 hits over the past two days and now I know why! :)

I'm glad everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. I wish I would have been available to tape last Friday's launch, but I was at my Uncle's 80th birthday party at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

PS. It seems the link may be broken due to the length of the URL, so maybe this will work better: Shuttle Launch
