Questions for a WordPress developer
 
I am recently retired .NET/MSSQL applications developer who is doing some pro-bono work for nearby non-profits. I have some questions for someone who is/has worked with WordPress. In addition to all my Google searches, I would like to talk about any issues running some custom PHP scripts in subfolders within a WP site.

I did very little application development work that ran on Apache servers during my career.
