Recycling VHS cassette tapes
 

I suppose some tapes with special original content might be worth something, but I suspect most are worthless. The internet informs me that in some locations the plastic shells can be recycled IF you first remove the tape. Does anyone know for certain if our local recycler does recycle the shells? The ones I have do not contain the recyclable triangle.
