Port Canaveral Hotel
 

Will be taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral. thought about going down to the Port a day or two early to go to the beach. Any suggestions onhotels, and do they provide bus tansportation to boat and parking at the hotel.

Radisson at the Port. Transportation to cruises available.

Before we moved down here, we would fly in a day or two early for our cruises and stay at the Residence Inn at the port (we stayed at the Radisson one time, but like the Residence Inn better). Comfortable rooms, nice pool area, pool bar and free breakfast. They do have a shuttle along with a park and cruise option, but I don't remember the details, plus we always rented a car so never used that option. Call the hotel directly for details. There are also a few parking lots away from the port with shuttles. Just Google port canaveral parking. Parking at the port is up to $120 for a 7 night cruise (you pay when you pull into the lot), so the park and cruise or other parking lots are worth checking on. However, having your car in the port parking lot is certainly convenient.

One word of caution - if you are departing on your cruise the same day a Disney ship departs (or if you are going on Disney), be prepared for a lot of families with kids at all of the hotels.
