Villages Pops Chorus Spring Concerts April 8 & 9

The Villages Pops Chorus begins its third year with an exciting concert titled “On With the Show, This Is It”. There will be two performances on April 8 and April 9, both at 7:00 PM at North Lake Presbyterian Church. Accompanied by pianist Jo Ann Hanebrink and an eleven piece band, the group will perform a variety of popular music, including “Something’s Gotta Give”, “The Shadow of Your Smile”, “Someone to Watch Over Me”, “Teenager In Love”, and a fun medley called “We Love the 60’s”. The women in the group will sing a sultry arrangement of “Whatever Lola Wants”, and the men will sing a medley reminiscent of the great male quartets of the late 50’s and early 60’s called “Crazy ‘Bout Croonin’”, including “Three Coins In a Fountain”, “Crazy ‘Bout Ya Baby”, and “Shangri La”. From beautiful ballads to songs that will have you tapping your feet, The Villages Pops Chorus promises a wonderful and unique concert. Tickets available at all Villages Box Office locations and online, general admission $12 each. The Villages Pops Chorus is a 501c3 charitable organization and has donated $20,000 to charities over the last 2 years. Part of the proceeds from these concerts will be donated to The American Cancer Society Cancer Resource Center in The Villages, and to Tutors For Kids.

thank you, Bill...if the performance is anywhere as good as the Villages Voices were last weekend it will be a big hit....14 of us are going to theatre night at lake miona rec center on april 9 but perhaps we can get a group together for the april 8 performance...will tickets again be available at the door?
