Wills
Wondering if anyone has done their own will on line? Do you really need to have an attorney draw it up?
|
That could be a complicated question. If you have a "will" it will go through Probate Court, that could take a year or two. You could put your assets in a Trust and avoid Probate and many other assorted complications.
I guess the bottom line is, how much aggravation do you want to leave your children with. We went to an attorney, yes it costs a reasonable fee but our children's future is protected in many ways that you may not be aware of. I would suggest that you get a free consultation with an attorney and discuss a trust/will to leave to your heirs. We were very happy with Millhorn Law firm. They were about half the cost of other firms and did a very through job. You can leave a will and a trust to protect you assets.
