NOAA Weather Alert
I read in another thread that mac9's NOAA radio gave an alert for a tornado watch in Sumter, Marion and Lake counties today. I saw the same thing on the weather channel. I didn't receive any on my Midland hazard radio. Did anyone else receive the alert on their weather alert radios?
I've checked the settings and the warning, watch and advisory indicators. Nothing. It has been reliable before and all settings are correct. ????? posted at 12:30 pm on Sunday |
Remember that a tornado "watch" means that conditions are appropriate for tornadic development. Although one should be alert it does not indicate a tornado has been spotted.

Yup! Mine went off this morning. Take it back to the fire station. You should also have it set to come on for the weekly test.
