NOAA Weather Alert

I read in another thread that mac9's NOAA radio gave an alert for a tornado watch in Sumter, Marion and Lake counties today. I saw the same thing on the weather channel. I didn't receive any on my Midland hazard radio. Did anyone else receive the alert on their weather alert radios?

I've checked the settings and the warning, watch and advisory indicators. Nothing. It has been reliable before and all settings are correct. ?????

Remember that a tornado "watch" means that conditions are appropriate for tornadic development. Although one should be alert it does not indicate a tornado has been spotted.

My NOAA radio hasn't given an alert, and it was properly set by the Fire Station. However I see on my computer weather station that there is a Tornado Watch until 5 PM today in Lady Lake.

Noaa

Yup! Mine went off this morning. Take it back to the fire station. You should also have it set to come on for the weekly test.

Thanks Skip. I'll take it to the Fire Station to be reset.

I have weather stations in the bedroom and in the living room. Both of them sounded the alarm this morning.
