Saw that last time I was down. Have you tried them? Are they good? I love a good key lime pie - one of my favorite desserts!

Really good, but you can sample before you buy

I picked up a Keyline Pie today at Walmart on 466, I mentioned them before on here. They look just like a Lemon Meringue because they have that same whipped topping, but when you bite into it, you really know it's keyline. They're only $4.99 and they been selling them everytime we've gone for the last couple of months. You'll find them in the deli/bakery area on one of the floor racks with the muffins. It looks like this:

He usually sets up for a weekend. You might try tomorrow.

I best remember key lime pies from the Keys not looking green. I think many add green to associate the pie with lime. I moved to S. Florida in the early 50's and used to go down to the Keys every Sunday to fish and remember all the ads for turtle soup and key lime pie. The pie was never green and always used gram cracker crust.

His Pies are the best! Pricy $20, but you can get at lease 10-12 pieces since it's so rich!
Don't hesitatate to buy from him!

IMHO, The Key Lime pies (original) from Publix are better!!

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the key lime pie from Edwards was. Its in the frozen section and Walmart prices them at about $5 and Publix has them for about $7. Its great tasting, not green and on a graham cracker crust. Try it.
