Home Health Companies
 

My husband will be coming home from TV Hospital and will need home health care a few times a week. The hospital gave me a list of 40 companies!

I would really appreciate any advice you can give regarding a company that you have used and wish to recommend (or complain about).

Please let me know any advice you may have regarding home health care.

I had knee replacement surgery Dec 3 and when discharged, Graystone Home Health Care came. The women nurses were super, very professional and nice. The # I have for them is 352.205.8514.

I highly recommend Florida Homecare Specialists. I am an RN and my Mom and I have used them 3 times in the past year. Their local ph# is 753-2206; their Ocala ph# is 352-509-3045.

I used Bay Care Homecare. It was arranged by hospital and/or my insurance before I left hospital. I had both home health nurses and physical therapists. All were very good, came on time, spent as much time as I needed. They came three times a week for 4 weeks. The same one did not come each time but that really didn't matter as everything was carefully documented. Their phone number is 352-728-5598. But as I said, it was arranged for me, they called me about two days after I got home to arrange for first visit.
