Yamaha G8A makes whirring noise
 

My Yamaha G8 gas cart makes a whirring sound when pressing on the gas pedal and does not move. Sometimes it goes on first push, sometimes it takes a few times before it catches and goes, then runs great. Suggestions please. Thanks EricP

Drive belts run and ware out on the sides of the belts, and it is hard to see such ware.
Make sure you replace with a heavy duty belt rather then the standard and most of the time
That will solve your issue.
