and another point of view

From time to time I watch this podcast. The people who write for this show seem to be indifferent about party politics and have a negative opinion about the establishment and the media. Listening doesn't hurt.

Not everyone can even listen to an opposing viewpoint. I understand.

Everybody is angry. Everybody wants to leave the world a better place for their children and grandchildren. That's the common ground.

This is a Bernie Sanders interview.

I have a hard time listening to that looneytoon, Sanders at any given time. He would have more credibility if he was seen pushing a shopping cart with all his belongings about town.

And your point was what?

My point was the common ground is the future we leave for our children and grandchildren. Bernie Sanders has another point of view about how we can make the country a better place. In this interview you may see what his ideas are.

As I said, not everyone is even willing to listen to the interview, an opposing viewpoint on many of the threads presented. I understand.

A lot of people don't trust Hillary or the media, neither does Bernie. Like Trump he is not being funded by anyone but his supporters. According to many, including Bernie the same people fund both parties.
FDR was an independent that chose to run as a Democrat. He changed the country. Could any independent, non funded candidate do that again?

I lost interest in Sanders when he said he is a socialist. Socialism is the enemy. Therefore, Sanders is the enemy. And realistically, he is more of a commie socialist. Most people today are too young to understand the war we have had against communism. And they haven't lived in a socialist country so they don't understand how bad it really is. It is very convenient to think that the gov is going to make all your decisions for you. That way, if it doesn't work out for you, you can blame the gov for it's failure.

I think most people I read on these threads agree with you. Unless it's only a handful that express the same opinion again and again.

FDR was a socialist and receives much more positive credit than he deserves. But, that is just my opinion and I was not around at the time. But, any time the gov says "give up your liberties and I will take care of you" then buyer beware.

You might be right, but I KNOW there are more than ONE on here, because all these other posts are not mine. So, there has to be at least two of us that agree.

Let me ask you a question, that should have some impact on your vote. If you have daughters or granddaughters, would you allow them to read President Sander's essay written in the 70's titled Man and Woman? Read the attached and tell me if you would even read the first paragraph to them, let alone the second.

Do you me to pull up Sanders discussing something he wrote in the 70's? Would you even listen if I did?

My children think for themselves. Look at what's on the internet and easily accessed. Your censorship argument didn't make sense in the 70's and 45 years later makes even less sense.

And there lies the problem with a liberal ideology. No class. I guess you are against the movie industry and game industry putting maturity labels on their movies and games.

Regardless of when it was written, if this pervert was elected he would be studied in public schools. This is not material for grade school students to discuss. Or, haven't you read it?

Let's see if we have this right. It gives a warning that this may not be material for the work place environment, but we have a person on here that thinks it is OK for children to discuss in grade school. Hmmm, interesting conflict here.

So, Trumps wife models in the nude and there is all kinds of problems with that, but Bernie writes perverted cr@p about sexual fantasies and it's OK for children to study. Gotta give it to the liberals, they sure don't have any problems with hypocrisy.

How could anyone argue with that?
