In-home Cook Needed to prepare a few meals

Does anyone have any experience with hiring a cook to come to their house and prepare a few meals for the week, or cater a small dinner party? I am looking for some recommendations.
Thank you!

Douglas Bailey has cooked for us for a few weeks. He also does dinner parties. We would certainly recommend him. His home phone is 352-430-1235 and cell is 207-838-5742. He owned a business called My Sweet Basil in the past.

Thank you. I also found a place that does a weekly dinner menu called Gourmet Today. You put in your selections from the weekly dinner menu by Friday and they deliver it to your home on the following Tuesday.

I am gonna get yelled at for sure.

Why not buy the already prepared frozen entrees at Publix from Stouffers, Michael Angelo, Marie Callendar, PF Changs? Some of them are VERY good.

I'm with you. The stouffers stuffed pepper and grandmas chicken are quite good. On sale at Publix for $4.99. At tbat price, if you don't like it, throw it out.

I like the individual servings of Stouffer's lasagna. Also the Marie Calendar's chicken pot pies are really good if done in the oven and not the microwave. I'm getting ready for surgery next week and stocked up on those plus a few chicken and mashed potato lean cuisines to take the pressure off hubby from him having to cook. You can also buy some frozen skillet suppers.

All you Wegmans lovers know about their $6 meals. Fresh Market offers something similar - $7 meals. You get a choice of a main entree and then 2 sides. Large portions and very tasty. Salmon as an entree has a $2 up charge.
