It seems Donald Trump and some of his followers seem to have little understanding and appreciation for the US Constitution.

So maybe we should get more information out there in the hope that it sinks in that we got rid of the idea of a dictator or king a very long time ago in the English-American legal tradition. Trump seems to be going for pre Magna Carta (1215) like power if he is going to accomplish most of what he has promised. Trump take lessons from King John.

Or, if he wants lessons on being a tyrant, watch or study Obama. Obama is very good at circumventing the Constitution.

I'm sure that Obama and Sanders would prefer to utilize the Mayflower Compact, since they are enthusiasts of socialism.

Unemployment below 5%, stock market at record highs, 72 straight months of private sector job growth, thriving housing and auto markets, reduced the federal budget deficit from 9.8% of GDP in Fiscal Year 2009 under Bush, to 2.9% of GDP in FY 2014, Obamacare providing coverage to millions without the negatives predicted by Republicans, etc. I could go on, all done without the help of a single Republican. History will judge this president very favorably.

Remember the cartoon of Kruschev with an outstretched hand to shake with Uncle Sam.....and his other hand behind his back with a nuclear bomb with USA on it?

The revolutionary war was over wealth. England had a war with France and expected us bail them out. Even before the war the average American was doing much better than the average European. The few pennies that a slave collected was more that the poorest overthere. The wealthy ruling class figured they could just collect taxes from us without giving us any representation.
Once we were a sovereign nation we could trade with anyone and not let England "wet their beak."
