Ritchie the hairless poodle has gone home for the holidays!
 

I am pleased as punch to announce that Ritchie(the hairless poodle) who has been at our shelter for close to a year will be in a warm house for Christmas!

Our prayers have been answered. Ritchie has been living in a small crate at the Humane Society for cl;ose to a year. A wonderful middle age couple (like us LOL) felt sorry for him and decided to adopt him and take him home for the Holidays. For Ritchie, LIFE IS GOOD!

YES YES YES!!!!!! I am SOOOOO happy for Ritchie!! I really felt badly that I was not ready to take in a new pooch after losing Bouvier. BTW my LILA is growing new fur!! She will not be hairless for Christmas! Maybe Ritchie will grow new fur too?! Nonie, thanks for such good news! YAY FOR RITCHIE!

Yes Gracie, for always. when I make a friend it is usually for life! I treasure my friends and its very hard to get rid of me even if you want to! ;)

We had a bad year here for relationships. If only people would be like you Nonie it would never have happened. Here are some things about you that I will strive to imitate in the coming year.

Listen carefully with your heart to what a person is saying.

Never exclude anyone.

Try to believe that a person is having a bad day, or a bad experience when they say bitter things.

Kindness and forgiveness pay big rewards.

A closed mouth gathers no feet.

An act of mercy to an animal or a person comes back to you tenfold.

No one is better than another. Each person has good qualities. Look for the good in everyone.

All these things are things you do all of the time Nonie.

The fact that you listed all these wonderful attributes tells me that you are 100% aware of the kind of person you ARE striving to be and if you ask me, I think your THERE!

I thankyou from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, but seriously I can be a real "witch" at times, I hope you never have to encounter that.

I believe we are ALL pure love, once we realize that fact, the rest comes easy, Gracie in my estimation you are already there. Now no more compliments please!!! I look like rudolph the red faced raindeer!! LOL
