Surprise at Steak 'n Shake
 

One of our favorite casual restaurants is Steak 'n Shake. We were surprised to find a new menu item----French onion soup. Seriously, the best French onion soup "ever" for only $2.95 a cup! Of course, the soup along with a salad, baked beans, steakburger and a chocolate malt filled my "tummy" to over flowing. It was a struggle to make it back to the car.

Bottom line----if you like French onion soup you have to go and maybe just the soup, steakburger and water with lemon will be enough for you.

French Onion is one of my favorite soups, but I shouldn't have it too often because it is so salty.

I'll try it in the near future. Thanks for the information.
