Need to Rent a Walker
 

I need to rent a walker (with a seat) for my Mom when we visit The Villages in May. She's bringing her travel walker but needs a larger walker for the Squares. Does anyone know where we can rent one?

I did a search on TOTV and came up with the Medicine Chest in Fruitland Park but they didn't have rentals listed on their website. I will call them tomorrow.

We are finally going to furnish our home and my Flex is going to be packed with stuff! Her seated Walker takes up a lot of room in my Flex so we would like to leave it home!

Try your local fire company. In some towns they lend equipment such as this.

I also posted this on The Villages Facebook and got many helpful suggestions! They were: Medicine Chest, The Villages Homeowners Association's Helping Hand program and two people offered to loan me their walkers! I love The Villages!

You can also possibly borrow one from the Legion at the corner of Rolling Acres Rd and 466. I borrowed a nice one from there when I had foot surgery. They also have wheel chairs to loan out. You do NOT have to be a member.

If you want to settle for one without the seat let me know I'll UPS it to you.
