Teeth Whitening Zoom?
 

Has anyone had their teeth whitened with the Phillips Sonicare Zoom method? Bought an electric toothbrush and a $50 off coupon was included for the treatment.

If it's a traditional Zoom Whitening, it's very effective, but can be quite painful. The solution that is painted onto your teeth seeps into the gums and down to the roots and can cause, especially if you have sensitive teeth, blasts of nerve pain for hours after the treatment..so much so that they give you a de-sensitizing gel to put on afterward, but even taking 800 mg of motrin, I was getting some heavy-duty "zingers" they're called, and I'm not sure I'd do it again.

Thanks! I think I will just stay with the old fashioned trays and gel.

I think plain old Crest Whitestrips are fantastic and not nearly as hard on the wallet!
