I worry a little, though, that when kitty grows up a little bit, the natural instincts will kick in more? On the other hand, you might see the bird riding around on the cat in pictures taken quite some time from now!

Those pictures are absolutely adorable. It is amazing when pets grow up together how compatible they can be.

I often find my 8 year old dog and my 16 year old cat curled up together on the bed.

Quite a few animals are gregarious and birds do love company of any kind if they dont have their own kind around.
